How do we celebrate father’s day?
Where did father’s day come from？
This is usually a big question to the dutiful children. If we are dutiful children, we will read the great suggestions below. Mother’s day of this year has gone. However the father’s day is coming. How many people really know where the father’s day comes from? If we want our fathers have a great father’s day, we have to learn some history about father’s day. The idea came from Mrs. John B. Dodd first. Mrs. John B. Dodd wanted a honor day to remember her father William Smart who is a Civil War veteran and single-handedly his children on a farm in eastern Washington state. (see more)
However, not just her father did that, all the fathers are just same great as Mrs. John’s father. Father does a lot for us, but we just payback a little. Basically, half of our life comes from our father. In other words, if there wasn’t father, we would not live in the amazing world.
Who is father?
Father is not just the man who gives our life, married our mom. Father is the older man who regard us as their own children, helps us a lot, teach us lessons and when we are ill, he will concern us and take care of us. For example, in ancient China, people thought teachers were their fathers too. In the one hand teachers in ancient China were usually men. In the other hands, Chinese thought teachers were the greatest people who taught them knowledge and regarded the students as their own children . So students regarded the teachers as their father too.
The easiest way to have a wonderful father’s day with our father.
Celebrating father’s day doesn’t’ mean just our father and we spend a good day together, we can ask mom for help too J!
1. First, what things do our father like? I don’t’ think it’s a hard question for me, but it can be a question for the dutiful sons who don’t have enough time to spend with their father. I have some suggestion for this awkward situation. Most fathers have similar interests, for example
(1).A sincerely message from the son.
(2). Some nice ties, belts, sunglasses.
(3). Books.
(4). Movies
(5). The food you made for him.
(6). Father like children share happiness and achievements with him. In other words, we can play an instrument which we are good at or draw a picture for him. We can also tell father that good things happened to us recently.
(7). Dutiful sons are valuable people. It means they usually have lots of work to do or stay other countries, they may not spend the day with their father. If you are in that situation, you need to call your father and have communication at least. You can also use amazon or ebay buy some gifts for your father. They usually have discount before father’s day.

(1) Do not argue with our father any more. Remember it’s father’s day.
(2) Everything should be enjoyful.
(3) Don’t forget to say: you love him.
(4) If you are a father too, ask your children to celebrate Father’s day together with his
grandfather. Be a good example of dutiful son.
