Analysis:
Poem 40: The tone of this poem makes me feel generous and optimistic. This poem shows that the thoughts in our minds sometimes are different from realistic. I got it when I read the description of "seeds" and "people." Sometimes the things we think are beautiful will usually be ignored in the real world. Sometimes the things we don't like are usually admired by others. So, Dickinson thinks why don't we make our own world we like? She describes a very beautiful garden which will never be disappeared in her mind. Then she says: "I can spare this summer, unrelunctantly" because the summer doesn't matter to her. This poem tells me, when we make some challenges, we should stay strong in our mind and never give up.
